Sharing my journey of conversion to Christianity from atheism, and all of the wondrous works & trials along the way.

Biblical Femininity

Only when Christ broke me from the world…

Did I find my way back to femininity.

Real femininity.

Not worldly femininity.

Not cultural femininity.

Not inclusive femininity.

Not fluid femininity.

Not costume femininity.

Not cosmetic femininity.

Not explicit femininity.

Not vulgar femininity.

Not tolerant femininity.

Not insecure femininity.

Not toxic femininity.

Not cowardly femininity.

Not the kind of femininity that you put on for a night.

Not the kind of femininity that holds grudges and harbors hate because we deserved better.

Not the kind of femininity that acts friendly in someone’s face to keep the peace, but gossips about them as soon as they leave the room.

Not the kind of femininity that says “Men and women are equal.”

Not the kind of femininity that “We don’t need men.”

Not the kind of femininity that wanted to do it all on our own so bad…. that it fought to rip women out of the home and create more 9-5 slaves to feed the machine.

Not the kind of femininity that pulled children out of the home where they learned how real life works, practical skills and talents, and how to be mothers and fathers, wives and husbands.

Not the kind of femininity that idolizes success, authority, and power.

Not the kind of femininity that flaunts perversion and wears attire in public, online, and around children that is only appropriate for your husband’s eyes.

Not the kind of femininity that encourages women and children to go out and have as much sex as you want, with however many people as you want, with whoever you want.

Not the kind of femininity that encourages men to become less and less masculine and turn more and more feminine.

No, this type of femininity is a kind I could have never known without Jesus.

Soft femininity.

Gentle femininity.

Loving femininity.

Kind femininity.

Quiet femininity.

Nurturing femininity.

Caring femininity.

Hospital femininity.

Helpful femininity.

Strong femininity.

Secure femininity.

Mature femininity.

Modest femininity.

Brave femininity.

Respectful femininity.

Tactful femininity.

Submissive femininity.

Forgiving femininity.

Complimentarian femininity.

Biological femininity.

Christ-like femininity.

Spirit-led femininity.

The kind of femininity that recognizes the “feminist” movement actually fights against every single real and raw aspect of God-given femininity.

The kind of femininity that embraces the beauty that comes from understanding that God created us, and His opinion matters more than anything or anyone else.

The kind of femininity that challenges our sisters.

The kind of femininity that believes in healthy confrontations to derail gossip and strife.

The kind of femininity that understands and accepts that just because we can “do anything a man can do” doesn’t mean that we should.

The kind of femininity that allows men to lead, as God commands.

The kind of femininity that submits to our husbands and understanding that we trust God to lead through him.

The kind of femininity that knows we need men just as much as they need us.

The kind of femininity that finds joy in serving our husbands.

The kind of femininity that does not fluctuate or change from day to day, because it radiates from within.

The kind of femininity that is strengthened and emboldened by covering up, and understands how precious our bodies are.

The kind of femininity that values purity and grieves the way the world sexualizes and perverts everything- especially children.

The kind of femininity that yearns for constant and life long sanctification.

The kind of femininity that seeks wisdom from the Bible.

The kind of femininity that aspires to be molded by  Christ into a proverbs 31 wife.

The kind of femininity that loves the things God loves, and hates the things God hates.

The kind of femininity that tries to bring glory to God in everything she does.

The kind of femininity that adores pink, flowers, and bows.

That kind. 💞

About Me

Once upon a time, I was a lesbian atheist. I was wounded and traumatized by men and the world through childhood into adulthood. I have encountered many different traumas and sufferings in my 30 years of life, which kept me oppositional and defiant towards God for far too long. By following Jesus Christ, and learning from Him has opened my eyes in a way I never imagined. Jesus has healed my heart, soul, and mind. He has brought me back to my mother who I cut ties with for 3 years. He taught me and enabled me to forgive others. He freed me from my shame, guilt, bitterness, feelings of worthlessness and hopelessness, and the weight of my pain. Living abundantly through Christ is the best thing that has ever happened to me. I hope you allow Him to start a work in you, too.
